To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Phoenix - Arizona the most popular school in the United States for business students working on their associate degree. UOPX - Arizona is a large private for-profit school situated in Tempe, Arizona. It awarded 2,352 associate degrees in 2020-2021.
Associate Degree recipients from UOPX - Arizona accumulate an average of $23,839 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 71% were women.

With a ranking of #13, Purdue University Global did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for business students working on their associate degree. This large public school is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and it awarded 764 associate degrees in 2020-2021.
Full-time students from Indiana pay an average of $10,125 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Purdue University Global. Out-of-state students pay an average of $14,436. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $27,073 in student loans. Around 43% of those degree recipients were women.
Since Purdue University Global is primarily an online school, it is an excellent choice for undergraduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
LaGuardia Community College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get an associate degree. It came in at #14 on the list. LaGuardia is located in Long Island City, New York and has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 740 associate degrees to qualified students.
Full-time students from New York pay an average of $5,218 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend LaGuardia. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $8,098. Associate Degree recipients from LaGuardia accumulate an average of $10,677 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 61% of those degree recipients were women.

American InterContinental University - Online came in at #15 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Business Associate Degree Schools ranking. Located in Schaumburg, Arizona, the fairly large private for-profit school handed out 726 associate degree awards in 2020-2021.
The average tuition and fees at AIU Online is $12,418. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. Associate Degree recipients from AIU Online accumulate an average of $31,457 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 50% were women.
Since AIU Online is primarily an online school, it is an excellent choice for undergraduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
Coastline Community College came in at #16 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Business Associate Degree Schools ranking. Located in Fountain Valley, California, the medium-sized public school awarded 710 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2020-2021.
