Top 10 Best Insurance Schools
Our analysis found University of Wisconsin - Madison to be the best school for insurance students who want to pursue a degree in the United States. Located in the large city of Madison, UW - Madison is a public school with a very large student population.
While working on their degree, insurance majors at UW - Madison accumulate an average of around $20,500 in student debt.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Madison Area Technical College. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Best Insurance Schools list. Madison College is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Madison.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Boston University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Best Insurance Schools list. Located in the city of Boston, Boston U is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

University of Georgia ranked #6 on this year’s Best Insurance Schools list. UGA is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Athens.
On average, insurance graduates from UGA take out $17,642 in student loans while working on their degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $181.
University of Iowa landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best insurance programs. Iowa is a fairly large public school located in the city of Iowa City.
After completing their degree, insurance graduates from Iowa carry an average student debtload of $22,250.
Bismarck State College ranked #8 on this year’s Best Insurance Schools list. Located in the small city of Bismarck, BSC is a public college with a small student population.
Kansas State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best schools for insurance students. It came in at #9 on the list. Located in the small city of Manhattan, K -State is a public school with a large student population.
Butler University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best schools for insurance students. It came in at #10 on the list. Butler is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the city of Indianapolis.
