Our 2023 rankings named Michigan State University the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for hospitality management students working on their bachelor’s degree. Michigan State is a fairly large public school located in the city of East Lansing.

Of the 154 students majoring in hospitality at Michigan State, 44% are male and 56% are female.

The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $619, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Indiana University - Purdue University - Indianapolis helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular hospitality management schools in the Great Lakes Region . Located in the large city of Indianapolis, IUPUI is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 113 students majoring in hospitality at IUPUI, 43% are male and 57% are female.

Hospitality majors at IUPUI take out an average of $20,456 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $150, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

Purdue University - Main Campus

West Lafayette, IN

Out of the 43 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Purdue University - Main Campus landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the small city of West Lafayette, Purdue is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 86 students majoring in hospitality at Purdue, 16% are male and 84% are female.

Hospitality majors at Purdue take out an average of $17,194 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $396, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

Located in the large suburb of Allendale, GVSU is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 80 students majoring in hospitality at GVSU, 20% are male and 80% are female.
