You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend University of Nevada - Reno. The school came in at #3 on this year’s list.
In-state students pay an average of $8,737 in tuition and fees if they attend UNR full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,827. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $20,835 in student loans.
You may have the opportunity to take online classes at UNR. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 26% took at least some of their classes online.
Out of the 8 schools in Nevada that were part of this year’s ranking, Nevada State College landed the # 4 spot on the list.
Students from Nevada who attend NSC full time pay an average of $6,075 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $19,440. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from NSC accumulate an average of $28,936 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.
Some students may be able to take online classes at NSC. During the 2019-2020 year, about 40% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.

The average tuition and fees at SNC is $35,508. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $28,104 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Great Basin College came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the ranking.
Students from Nevada who attend Great Basin College full time pay an average of $3,683 in tuition and fees. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $10,399. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $27,254 in loans while pursuing their degree.
One thing to take note of is that Great Basin College does offer online classes in some areas. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 96% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
Truckee Meadows Community College came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the ranking.
In-state students pay an average of $2,934 in tuition and fees if they attend Truckee Meadows Community College full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $10,620.
One thing to take note of is that Truckee Meadows Community College does offer online classes in some areas. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 88% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
College of Southern Nevada came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the ranking.
In-state students pay an average of $3,848 in tuition and fees if they attend CSN full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $11,534. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $12,204 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Some students may be able to take online classes at CSN. During the 2019-2020 year, about 66% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
