This report analyzed 14 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for business students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Real Estate program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for real estate majors pursuing a bachelor's degree.

University of Georgia

Athens, GA

Our 2023 rankings named University of Georgia the most popular school in the Southeast Region for real estate students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the city of Athens, UGA is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 32% of the students majoring in real estate at the school are women while 68% are male.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, real estate graduates from UGA carry an average student debt load of $18,657. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $254.

Tallahassee, FL

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Florida State University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Real Estate Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in the midsize city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 108 students majoring in real estate at Florida State, 69% are male and 31% are female.

Real Estate majors at Florida State take out an average of $18,207 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Out of the 14 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Virginia Tech landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the small city of Blacksburg, Virginia Tech is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 112 students majoring in real estate at Virginia Tech, 71% are male and 29% are female.

The average amount in student loans that real estate majors at Virginia Tech take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $22,195.

University of Mississippi came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Real Estate Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Located in the town of University, Ole Miss is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Florida International University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for real estate students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the large suburb of Miami, FIU is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 36% of the students majoring in real estate at the school are women while 64% are male.

Georgia State University landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree real estate programs. Georgia State is a fairly large public school located in the city of Atlanta.

Women make up 35% of the real estate majors at the school.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, real estate graduates from Georgia State carry an average student debt load of $29,719.
