Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for economics students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Florida. UF is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville.

Women make up 38% of the economics majors at the school.

The average amount in student loans that economics majors at UF take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $15,458. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $213.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Florida State University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Economics Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida list. Located in the midsize city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public college with a fairly large student population.
