How Hard Is It To Get Into RIT?

With an acceptance rate of 74%, RIT may not be as selective as some schools, but you should not take admittance for granted. Be sure to submit the best application you can.

Average Test Scores

About 75% of students accepted to RIT submitted their SAT scores. When looking at the 25th through the 75th percentile, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing scores ranged between 600 and 690. Math scores were between 620 and 730.

RIT received ACT scores from 26% of accepted students. When looking at the 25th through the 75th percentile, ACT English scores ranged between 24 and 33. Math scores were between 27 and 32. Composite scores were between 28 and 33.
