To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Washington - Seattle Campus the most popular school in Washington for business students working on their master’s degree. Located in Seattle, Washington, the large public school awarded 640 diplomas to qualifed master’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 41% were women.
One thing to take note of is that UW Seattle does offer online graduate classes in some areas. During the 2019-2020 year, about 7% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Out of the 17 schools in Washington that were part of this year’s ranking, Washington State University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Wazzu is located in Pullman, Washington and has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 306 master’s degrees to qualified students.
Of those students who received their degree, 38% were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at Wazzu. In fact, around 30% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Gonzaga University is a great place for business students working on their master’s degree. Gonzaga is located in Spokane, Washington and has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 268 master’s degrees to qualified students.
Of those students who received their degree, 51% were women.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Seattle University is a great place for business students working on their master’s degree. Seattle, Washington is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out master’s degrees to 175 students in 2020-2021.
Around 55% of those degree recipients were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online graduate classes at Seattle U. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 71% took at least some of their classes online.
You’ll be in good company if you attend Eastern Washington University. The school came in at #5 on this year’s Most Popular Business Master’s Degree Schools in Washington list. Cheney, Washington is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out master’s degrees to 170 students in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 59% were women.
EWU does have options available for those who want to take online graduate classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 92% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
City University of Seattle did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #6 on the list. CityU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Seattle, Washington. The school has a small population, and it awarded 164 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 55% of those degree recipients were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at CityU. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 79% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
University of Washington - Bothell Campus did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. UW Bothell is located in Bothell, Washington and has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 67 master’s degrees to qualified students.
Around 54% of those degree recipients were women.

University of Washington - Tacoma Campus ranked #8 on this year’s Most Popular Business Master’s Degree Schools in Washington list. University of Washington - Tacoma Campus is a medium-sized public school located in Tacoma, Washington that handed out 64 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 52% of those degree recipients were women.
UW Tacoma does have options available for those who want to take online graduate classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. During the 2019-2020 year, about 4% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.

Northwest University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #9 on the list. Located in Kirkland, Washington, the small private not-for-profit school handed out 41 master’s degree awards in 2020-2021.

You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at Northwest University. In fact, around 13% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
Pacific Lutheran University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #10 on the list. Located in Tacoma, Washington, the small private not-for-profit school awarded 38 diplomas to qualifed master’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Around 42% of those degree recipients were women.
PLU does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 94% took at least some of their classes online.
Whitworth University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #10 on the list. Whitworth is located in Spokane, Washington and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 38 master’s degrees to qualified students.
Around 47% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that Whitworth does offer online graduate classes in some areas. In fact, around 10% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
With a ranking of #12, Western Washington University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for business students working on their master’s degree. Western Washington University is a fairly large public school located in Bellingham, Washington that handed out 28 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 61% of those degree recipients were women.

Central Washington University landed the #13 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular master’s degree business programs. This fairly large public school is located in Ellensburg, Washington, and it awarded 20 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 55% of those degree recipients were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at CWU. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 85% took at least some of their classes online.
Saint Martin’s University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #14 on the list. This small private not-for-profit school is located in Lacey, Washington, and it awarded 18 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 67% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at Saint Martin’s. In fact, around 98% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
With a ranking of #15, Seattle Pacific University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for business students working on their master’s degree. SPU is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Seattle, Washington. It awarded 8 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Faith International University ranked #17 on this year’s Most Popular Business Master’s Degree Schools in Washington list. Faith International University is a very small private not-for-profit school located in Tacoma, Washington that handed out 5 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
