Our analysis found George Mason University to be the most popular school for business students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in Virginia. Located in Fairfax, Virginia, the large public school awarded 137 diplomas to qualifed graduate certificate students in 2020-2021.
Around 45% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at GMU. During the 2019-2020 year, about 87% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Out of the 19 schools in Virginia that were part of this year’s ranking, Liberty University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Liberty University is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Lynchburg, Virginia. It awarded 118 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

Charlottesville, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out graduate certificates to 56 students in 2020-2021.
Around 71% of those degree recipients were women.

Radford University ranked #11 on this year’s Most Popular Business Graduate Certificate Schools in Virginia list. This medium-sized public school is located in Radford, Virginia, and it awarded 10 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

University of Management and Technology landed the #19 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular graduate certificate business programs.
