Our 2023 rankings named Southeast Community College Area the most popular school in Nebraska for business students working on their associate degree. Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, the medium-sized public school awarded 181 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2020-2021.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at Southeast Community College is $3,192. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $3,780. Associate Degree recipients from Southeast Community College accumulate an average of $17,475 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 54% of those degree recipients were women.
Southeast Community College does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. In 2019-2020 about 42% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
You’ll be in good company if you attend Metropolitan Community College. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Business Associate Degree Schools in Nebraska list. Located in Omaha, Nebraska, the fairly large public school handed out 157 associate degree awards in 2020-2021.

Mid-Plains Community College is located in North Platte, Nebraska and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 28 associate degrees to qualified students.
In-state students pay an average of $3,420 in tuition and fees if they attend Mid-Plains Community College full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $4,320. Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $5,483. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, associate degree students take out $12,178 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 60% of those degree recipients were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. During the 2019-2020 year, about 20% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.

Union College Nebraska did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for business students to get an associate degree. It came in at #8 on the list. Union College is located in Lincoln, Nebraska and has a very small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 2 associate degrees to qualified students.
The average tuition and fees at Union College is $26,060. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. Around 50% of those degree recipients were women.

Creighton University landed the #11 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree business programs.
If you want to attend Creighton, expect to pay an average of $44,524 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since Creighton does offer online classes for certain majors. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 67% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
College of Saint Mary came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Business Associate Degree Schools in Nebraska ranking.
Online courses are available at Saint Mary, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. In 2019-2020 about 65% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
